Getting Started with Invisalign

At your initial visit, Dr. Resnick or Dr. Rosenfeld will go over your smile goals and thoroughly examine your teeth and mouth. Then, with the aid of x-rays, pictures and impressions, a treatment plan will be developed. The Invisalign lab will then use this treatment plan to fabricate your custom-made Invisalign aligners. Your job, of course, is to wear your aligners day in and day out. Another advantage of Invisalign aligners is that you can remove them for eating or brushing and flossing. So, eat whatever you want and brush and floss as usual.

Approximately every two weeks you’ll change to the next set of aligners. With each progressive set, you’ll watch your teeth steadily move into position. When you’ve completed your treatment, you’ll have a smile that will be the first thing others notice about you.
